Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-30

TrouperList ("we", "us") operates app.trouperlist.com. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.

1. What we collect

  • Account info — email address and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile name and avatar URL. Provided by Firebase Authentication.
  • The records you create — shows, contacts, routines, custom fields, notes, communications log entries, performance log entries. Stored under your user ID in Firestore.
  • Subscription state — if you subscribe, we receive from Stripe a customer ID, current plan, status, and renewal date. We do not see or store your credit card; that lives at Stripe.
  • Push-notification tokens — if you opt in to reminders, the device's Firebase Cloud Messaging token is stored on your account so we can deliver reminders.
  • Diagnostic logs — Cloud Functions log invocations and errors. Logs may include your user ID and the IDs of records you operate on, but not the contents of those records.

2. How we use it

  • To provide the Service to you (display your records, fire reminders, take payments).
  • To diagnose and fix bugs.
  • To enforce per-tier usage limits.
  • To communicate about your account or service changes.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your records for advertising. We do not train AI models on your records.

3. Third-party processors

The Service relies on these subprocessors:

  • Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Hosting, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging) — primary infrastructure. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe holds your card and billing details; we receive only the metadata listed in §1. See stripe.com/privacy.

4. Where data is stored

Records are stored in Google Firestore in Google's US data centers. Cloud Functions run in the same region. Backups are managed by Google per their service terms.

5. Retention

Your records stay in our system until you delete them or close your account. When you close your account, we delete your account info and records within 30 days, except where law requires retention (e.g., tax records on subscription payments — those live with Stripe).

6. Your rights

You can:

  • Access — view all your records in the app.
  • Export — download every contact, routine, and show as JSON via Settings → Export.
  • Correct — edit any record inline on its detail page.
  • Delete — delete individual records, or close your account by emailing [email protected].

If you're in a jurisdiction with additional rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), contact us and we'll honor them.

7. Cookies and local storage

The Service uses Firebase's local storage for sign-in state and offline caching. We don't use third-party tracking cookies or analytics SDKs.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.

9. Changes

We'll update this policy when our practices change. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email.

10. Contact

For privacy questions or to exercise the rights above, email [email protected].
